On January 23 at Oneida Center in Utica, New York, residents at the 120-bed skilled nursing facility enjoyed a pie tasting program on a very chilly damp day. It was up to the residents which two pies they wanted to taste and from a wide variety of choices that included Boston cream, lemon meringue and pecan pies, the two most popular turned out to be apple and pumpkin. Many of the residents had them warmed up and they were delicious.
